Some exciting news!!

I know I haven't posted in quite some time and I know the past few posts have been about our house.. which hasn't made much progress lately but I just wanted to share some news with everyone.

We are..............................................

WOOHOO!! we are finally debt free!!
We got our first time home buyers money back the other day and we went straight to the bank and paid off both of our cars, which was our only debt we had. It feels so good to fianlly have that off our back every month. I'll tell you what the cars definatley drive alot better knowing that we don't have any payments on them anymore!!

Now the trick is to stay debt free for the rest of our lives and hopefully be the millionare next door! I highly doubt that though!
We finally have the extra cash in our budget to really get down into the nitty gritty and start working more on our house.

BTW in my last post I mentioned that I wanted the master bedroom done and finished by the end of August.. ya didn't happen!
