GIRL!!!!!!!
Dr. was wrong at our 12 week appt. which I figured it would be because 12 weeks is WAY too early to get gender id. But we went in at 16 weeks 3 days and was told baby was a girl!!

Definately NOTHING inbetween those little legs!!

 We were both really shocked it was a girl because we were so certain it was a boy. From the time we got married we've always just pictured our family starting out with a little boy as our first. I guess God had other plans for our family!

We went back in for another appt. last saturday, I was 21 weeks 3 days. Baby girl is measuring right on schedule and she's perfect!  I guess I'll throw in a belly picture for you guys too!

We've decided on a name as well. She is offically Reese Braeley Diehl.
Now.. how we came up with the name. We/I was always set on our girl name being Weslie Ann Diehl but the second we found out it was a girl the name didn't feel right. After we found out, still in shock we decided to go to breakfast. We were sitting there discussing names and I said "What about Reese?" and Danny said.. "Ya it's ok" but the second I said "Reese, I just felt warm and good about it. Like this baby was always supposed to be Reese. I was sold on the name, it was Danny that needed the convincing. I was just stuck on a middle name. We couldn't figure out anythign that sounded good with Reese.

I tried for weeks to figure something out but for the life of me, nothing fit. I found a thing online that was a middle name generator and I wrote down a few names I liked. One being Reese Ryleigh but.. Riley is my little brothers name I just automatically wrote it off because we couldn't have my little brothers name! But when I mentioned it to Danny he said " wouldn't it be cool if we combined Braedon and Riley's names and named Reese after them??" I was stoked! I thought it was a great idea!!! Braedon and Riley are such great kids and we have developed a great relationship with them. They are truly 2 of my best friends. They are always over at our house and they are soooo excited for little miss Reese. So Danny and I immediately pulled out a piece of paper and a pen and tried a few different spellings. Than we came up with Brae(don)(Ri)ley Braeley. Danny immdiately grinned and said "I knew there was a reason I wasn't sold on Reese just yet because we didn't have the right name!!!"

We told our family on Thanksgiving that we had an offical name chosen and said "Her name is Reese Braeley Diehl" and Braedon immediately pipped up... "after me?!" and we said.. ACTUALLY... Yes!! They are super excited and I'm just thrilled I have something to hang over their head!
